Facebook has this not-so-new feature in which they show your past posts. These posts go back to when your first opened your account. For me this was around 2010. As I review my past posts, I am learning two (2) very important things about myself.
1. I don’t own Facebook. I have no control about what they save, share, or delete.
2. I was so self-absorbed and judgmental! I mean, wow! I had an opinion for everything! And I had no problem sharing it. I judged people based on my limited experiences and then passive aggressively mocked them online. [GAG] I was a mean girl!
As I read my past posts, I now understand who this “old Senita” is that my daughter and husband sometimes refer to. [smh] I was ugly. I was.
I also understand that it was my insecurities and fears that made me so abrasive.
I recently read a post about sandpaper people. I was a sandpaper person.
[smh] mm-mm-mm. I’m glad that I’m not that woman any more. I’m more glad that I knowwhy I was that way. I sincerely hope that I remember where I came from when I deal with my share of sandpaper people.
